Measure what matters and own what's next.

A physical assessment of more than thirty-five measurements across five pillars of health and performance. In about forty minutes we measure how your body actually works, then score every result against people your age and sex, so you see exactly where you stand and what to work on next.

Why a baseline

The scale, the mirror and your best lift all leave the important parts out.

A commuter climbing stairs, his leg strength, cardio fitness and left-right balance read from everyday movement

Your weakest link decides your real strength, not your best lift.

Looking fit can hide real risk

Two people at the same weight can be very different inside. Many South Asians look slim yet still carry the fat that drives disease.

Strong on one side, quietly compensating on the other

Left and right rarely match. The imbalance a single gym number never shows is the one inviting your next injury.

The signals of ageing start early and quietly

Grip, balance, aerobic fitness and waist ratio shift years before you feel them. A baseline catches the drift while you can still change it.

Why get assessed

Four reasons people book a BodyBaseline.

A 360-degree view

Five pillars and one clear score. Strength, cardio, mobility, body composition and reflexes, measured together instead of one at a time.

Find the hidden gaps

The imbalances and weak links a workout never reveals, surfaced before they cap your performance or turn into an injury.

Benchmarked to your age

Every result is scored against people your age and sex, so a good number means good for you, not a generic target.

Act early

See the earliest signals of how you are ageing while there is still plenty of time, and plenty of upside, in doing something about them.

What we measure

One assessment. Five pillars. Thirty-five-plus data points.

A single sitting of about forty minutes covers the systems that decide how you perform today and how you age tomorrow. Here is what each pillar looks at, and why it earns its place.

Strength & Power

Your true force across every major joint, plus your weakest link. Strong limbs on a weak trunk under-perform on every squat, press and carry. Grip alone is one of the most validated windows into whole-body strength.

Cardiorespiratory

How well heart, lungs and muscles work as one system. VO2 max is among the single strongest predictors of lifespan, and the size of your aerobic engine. A higher one means more energy in the day and faster recovery between hard efforts.

Mobility & Stability

How freely you move and how well you stay upright. Tight ankles and hips push load onto knees and backs, and your balance with your eyes closed quietly predicts how well you will age and how likely you are to fall later.

Body Composition

What you are actually made of, which is far more honest than weight or BMI. It sees the visceral fat that drives disease and the muscle that protects against it. Muscle is the organ of longevity, and this shows how much of it you carry.

Reflex & Cognition

The speed of the whole nerve-to-muscle loop, and how well your brain filters distraction under pressure. It is a quiet marker of brain-body health, it slows with age, and unlike many things on this list, it is trainable.

Strength values are measured with an ISO-certified dynamometry system and scored against globally validated normative ranges.

Why it matters

A few numbers worth knowing.

16%

Every five kilograms less grip strength links to roughly sixteen percent higher risk of dying early, across about 140,000 adults. Grip is one of the earliest, most validated signals of how you are ageing.

PURE study, published in The Lancet
0.5

Keep your waist under half your height. Cross that line and metabolic and heart risk climb, whatever the scale says or however you look in your clothes.

Waist-to-height ratio, meta-analysis
58 yrs

In India, the average person gets only about 58 healthy years before decline sets in, well short of the world's best. Knowing your baseline early is how you push that number in your favour.

Your report

You leave with a report, not just a pile of numbers.

One overall score out of 100, with a plain one-word rating so you know at a glance where you stand.
A score for each of the five pillars, with every metric marked green, amber or red against your age and sex.
Plain-language notes that explain what each number means for your daily life, not just clinical jargon.
Your weakest links, called out, so you know exactly what to work on first for the biggest return.

I'm Sudeep, the founder of BodyBaseline. For years I have been quietly obsessed with one question: how do you tell how a body is truly doing, and not just how it feels it is doing? That question has taken me from power meters on the bicycle to theta waves in meditation, always chasing the honest signal underneath.

I have put myself through the same lens, from VO₂ max testing to lab-based strength assessments, and spent a great deal of time separating the measurements that genuinely predict how we age from the ones that merely sound impressive. BodyBaseline is what came of it: a carefully chosen set of science-backed tests, each with real normative ranges, that together give an honest, benchmarked read on how your body is performing and ageing.

I run BodyBaseline independently in Bangalore and take every person through their baseline myself. When we sit down with your results, you are talking to the person who measured them.

Good to know

Questions people ask.

How long does it take?

About forty minutes for the full assessment across all five pillars. You will have time to ask questions as we go.

Do I need to be fit to do it?

Not at all. There is no pass or fail. You are scored against people your own age and sex, and beginners often learn the most from their very first baseline.

Is this a medical test?

No. BodyBaseline is for information and performance tracking, not a medical diagnosis or treatment. If a result looks worth a doctor's attention, we will tell you so you can follow up.

How should I prepare?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, come well hydrated, and avoid a hard workout in the hours just before. That is about it.

Where does it happen?

In Bangalore. We fix the exact place when you book, wherever is easiest for you. Message on WhatsApp and we will sort out the details.

Can I see a sample report first?

Of course. There is a peek above, and a full sample report is a message away. Ask on WhatsApp or by email and it will land in your inbox.

In their words

What people say after a baseline.

It goes well beyond weight or BMI. In one sitting you get an honest picture of how your body is actually performing, across strength, cardio, mobility, body composition and reflexes. The report is thorough yet easy to follow, and it flags markers most conventional tests miss. It stays independent too, with no pressure to buy programmes or supplements. For the demands of army life, knowing exactly where I stand matters.
Abhishek R. Abhishek R.Major, Indian Army
Most of us just carry on, a bit of exercise here and there, with no real way to check where we actually stand. I walk six kilometres briskly every day and thought I was doing well, until the numbers showed me the reality. It was an eye opener. Having every metric explained clearly helped me understand how my body is really functioning. I would recommend a baseline to anyone, even if you already work out.
Nikhil NikhilAVP, Global Wealth Management Firm
I did the assessment while rethinking my fitness goals. I have stopped chasing short-term performance and started training for longevity, to stay strong, healthy and capable for years to come. As someone who loves data, having a clear picture of where I actually stood was invaluable. It replaced guesswork with objectivity, and gave me the clarity and confidence to reorganise my goals.
